PLE - Palm Lake Estates Condominium Association, Inc.

Palm Lake Estates Condominium Association, Inc. is an adult community organized under the Condominium laws of the State of Florida.  One occupant in each unit must be at least 55 years of age, and no occupant shall be under 50 years of age. New Board Members and Officers are elected on January 31st of each year at the Annual Meeting.  

Condominium Board Meetings are held once a month on the second Thursday at 3:00PM in the clubhouse.

The Palm Lake Estates Residents Association is responsible for the Social, Recreational, Sport, Travel and other activities under the approval of the Palm Lake Estates Condominium Board.  New Association Board Members and Officers are elected in January of each year at the Annual Meeting held on the third Saturday at 7:00PM.

Rules Highlights

  • RULES- Owners, their Guests and Renters are REQUIRED to follow ALL PLE Rules. Each Unit is required to keep a copy of the PLE GOVERNING DOCUMENTS describing the rules. [Copies are also available on this Website -or- Hardcopy may be purchased from the PLE Office for $25]

    OFFICE SIGN-IN Requirement for Safety. ALL Residents upon Seasonal arrival and again at the end of your stay must SIGN IN & SIGN-OUT with the PLE Office. This includes ALL Guests, RENTERS.

    INTERVIEW PROCESS - NEW Prospecitve Buyer /Owners AND ALL RENTERS are required to be INTERVIEWED & approved by the PLE Board of Directors BEFORE occupying the Unit. Please contact the PLE Office for details & appointment (941) 758-3981.

    RENTERS - are required EACH SEASON to provide a copy of the Rental Agreement to the PLE Office with TERM NOT SHORTER THAN THREE (3) MONTHS. Owners who Rent their Unit are responsible to conform to FL Tax law [see https://www.taxcollector.com/services/tourist-tax/tourist-tax.cfm]

    PETS [Dog/Cat] *Legally Documented SERVICE ANIMALS and Legally Documented ESA Emotional Support Animals are not restricted

    a) GUESTS and RENTERS are not allowed PETS* anywhere at PLE Condominium - neither at the Unit nor on PLE Condominium Common property.

    b) PETS ARE ONLY ALLOWED IN THE PET SECTION along A and L street.*

    Pets are NOT welcome in the Commons area including Pool, Shuffleboard court and Clubhouse*.

    c) PET REGISTRATION REQUIRED - Every year the Unit Owner [with Dog/Cat] is required to give the PLE Office a Current DATED copy of the; 1. License and 2. Vaccination records

    d) LEASH RULE - Pets MUST be kept on leash not more than 6 foot long.

    e) Good Neighbors - Supervise your pets at all times. NO DOG BARKING allowed -and- Always PICK UP PET WASTE.

    VEHICLES / PARKING -

    VEHICLE ID Must be VISIBLE at all times - Resident Owners, their Guests and Renters are ALL required to display a PLE Window sticker or PLE Visitor Rearview Mirror Hanger (available from the PLE Office) while parked at the Unit or on PLE Condominium Common Property.

    NO STREET or GRASS PARKING permitted.

    SPEED LIMIT - 15 MPH

  • The PLE Governing Documents define the rules which include; Articles of Incorporation, the Declaration of Condominium and the Palm Lakes Condominium Assocation, Inc. By-Laws.

    Highlights; Owners occupying the Unit for more that 30 days - At least one person in each Unit is required to be age 55 or older.

    Owners, their Guest(s) and Renters are required to follow ALL rules.

    Guests may stay a maximum of 30 days total in any Calendar year.

    Childen must be surpervised at all times by an Adult both at the Unit and everywhere on the Condominium Common property.

    NO SWIMMING unless supervised by an Adult. Pool closes at dusk.

    RENTERS - Minimum Rental Term is three ( 3 ) months Requiring Proof of Agreement wih Interview and PRIOR APPROVAL by the PLE Condominium Board.

INTERVIEW - Prospective New Owners and ALL Renters - You may book your PLE Board Interview by contacting the office (941) 758-3981 or by EMAIL PLEoffice808@gmail.com. YOUR INTERVIEW and PLE BOARD APPROVAL are required BEFORE you may legally occupy the Unit.

UNIT ALTERATION - PRIOR APPROVAL REQURED - Please complete and submit the Home Alteration Request Form to the PLE Office. PLE Board approval is required BEFORE Work begins. Be sure to secure required PERMITS. You are responsible for any damage to Electric or Water/Sewer systems - ALWAY CALL Utilites for approval BEFORE DIGGING!
